IJVO

International Lawyers' Association Osnabrück

Since its foundation in 1989, the IJVO has promoted the further education of German and foreign lawyers in the field of private international law and comparative law. This is done in particular through its own lecture series, excursions and the organization of specialist conferences. Most of the lectures are available online in written form in the "Jahresheft" of the IJVO. The annual issues contain articles by renowned scientists as well as publications of student achievements by our young scientists.

Since 2023, the IJVO has awarded a Funding Award for an outstanding student paper in private international law.
