AG Applied Algebra and Data Analysis
Applied Algebra and Data Analysis Group
The research focus of the working group is based on the application of algebraic methods, in particular
in data analysis, machine learning and signal processing. Commutative and numerical algebra methods are a major focus and the most important research topics are algebraic statistics and probability theory, computer algebra, discrete geometry, combinatorial algebra, and convex optimization.
