Qualification Goals

Students know understand advanced analytical methods in public economics and know about their limits. They can communicate with other students and researchers in written (research paper) and oral (seminar presentation) form.

Content

Selected topics in public economics, typically based on current research.

Components and semester hours per week

Seminar 2 semester hours per week. 

Frequency

Winter semester / summer semester

Examination per formence

Paper (10-30 pages) and presentation (15-45 minutes) in the seminar.

Calculation of the module grade

The partial examination in the term paper is given a weighting of 60% and the partial examination in the presentation is given a weighting of 40% in the module grade.
