Software access / registration form
- OMERO.web is usable from anywhere - whether you are at home, in the office or on the road. The OMERO desktop clients only work if you are in the Biology network - either accessible via a network cable (LAN) or via VPN.
- New users must first register for a user account using the registration form. The account created does not belong to a specific department. Department heads or research group leaders can assign users to their OMERO groups to enable data sharing.
- For OMERO you use the same access data (user name and password) as for StudIP. Your user name is your LDAP identifier (e.g. xmuster).
OMERO Clients

The following instruction without installation only apply to members of the Department of Biology/Chemistry at Osnabrück University whose computer is located in the Biology network - either via a network cable (LAN) or via VPN.
All others can download the clients under OMERO Downloads and follow the instructions described there.
