Saborio Morales, Juan Carlos
Biography
My work focuses on planning and decision-making under uncertainty, particularly with limited information and partial observability, and how to transfer the resulting action prediction and action selection methods to independent and cooperative agents. I am also interested in how to integrate these methods onboard systems that perceive, learn, plan and act in real-time. Potential applications include decision-support architectures and cooperative mobile robots, in domains such as agriculture and industry.
