Equal Oportunity

The School of Human Sciences is jointly responsible for ensuring structural equal opportunities and fulfilling the state's equal opportunities mandate. The decision-makers at the schools work closely with decentralized equal opportunities officers in the institutes to implement this mandate.

The decentralized Equal Opportunities Officers are in regular contact with the  Equal Opportunities Office, where you can find all cross-departmental information on the topics of equal opportunities, compatibility and diversity.

Tasks of the decentralized Equal Opportunities Officer

  • Advising the Dean's Office and the heads of the institutes on gender equality issues
  • Participation in the creation of the  equality plan (PDF, 697 kB) (German only)
  • Supporting and advising students and staff on gender equality issues
  • Participation in appointment and staffing procedures
  • Participation in programs for the advancement of women and gender equality
  • (Initial) advice and support in cases of sexual harassment in the workplace
