Welcome to the homepage of the Department of Information Management and Business Informatics (IMWI)!

At the Chair of Information Management and Business Informatics (IMWI), headed by  Prof. Dr. Oliver Thomas, and the DFKI research group  Smart Enterprise Engineering, 40 research assistants are engaged in the analysis and development of modern information technologies for the enterprise of the future.

All of the department's projects are application-oriented and are developed in close cooperation with both large international corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Osnabrück economic region.
