Hands-on teaching
University students acquire extensive competences in technical disciplines, teaching methodologies and (professional) educational sciences. Additionally, interdisciplinary (key) competences are important to prepare university students to the fullest for the following professional practice as a teacher. For university students a glance into pedagogical practices is equally important as the acquisition of professional competences to become a “reflective practitioner”.
Based on that, a series of events, which give a glance into educational practices and support the acquisition of interdisciplinary competences, should be established. The goal of these events is that university students have the possibility of getting into interdisciplinary phenomena and problems of pedagogical practices, as well as acquiring interdisciplinary key competences. The planned series of events contributes towards giving university students the possibilities and reasons for preparing for the requirements of everyday school life beyond the contents of the studies and to reflect them. The focus of the series of events lies in practice-oriented contents and topics which are as realistically imparted as possible through experts.
