Congress "New Cultural Geography" at the University of Augsburg

From September 30 to October 2, 2025, several SFB members presented their work at the annual NKG conference.

In inspiring sessions, Christine Lang and Viktor van Versendaal (project C3) as well as Sophie Hinger and Francina Guggenberger (project C1) gave insights into their current research work and discussed it with colleagues. SFB member Mert Pekşen discussed with other lecturers how geographical teaching can be decentered and Emma Luna Brahm (IMIS/Institute of Geography) presented her doctoral project in the session "Urban spaces of migration in transition".
