"KI Connect" Event on October 16

Treffpunkt Innovation connects start-ups, companies and research, presents regional projects and demonstrates the many facets and potential applications of artificial intelligence. Osnabrück University is also taking part.

The event at the InnovationsCentrum Osnabrück (ICO) on October 16, 2025 will provide an overview of current AI innovations and showcase practical applications in SMEs and start-ups.

After a welcoming address by Mayor Katharina Pötter, Prof. Dr. Kai-Uwe Kühnberger (Department of Artificial Intelligence and Vice President for Research, Social Dialog and Outreach at Osnabrück University) will give a keynote speech on the topic of AI trends 2025 compact - entering the era of intelligent AI systems.

This will be followed by examples of how start-ups and established companies are working together to implement new technologies. The second part will focus on smart workflows, automation and the use of AI in trade, the food industry and technology development. The program will be rounded off with an exhibition in the AI gallery, breaks to exchange ideas and a relaxed finale with snacks.

The event is already fully booked (as of September 22, 2025).

Lecture: The future of the European Union in times of geopolitical upheaval

Lecture "AI and political power" as part of the Digital Week 2025
