If possible, try to register for the dates of the first semester week in Stud.IP in the course "Einführungsveranstaltung: Erstsemestereinführung FB Mathematik/Informatik/Physik" as soon as you receive your login data from the computer center.
Pre-course in mathematics
The aim of the preliminary course is to provide an introduction to higher mathematics and thus facilitate the transition from school to university. The lectures from 10-12 a.m. are supplemented by exercises in the afternoon.
Registration is required.
Preliminary course in computer science

The computer science pre-course is aimed at students who will attend one of the lectures "Introduction to Programming" or "Computer Science for Users". (These are students of e.g. Mathematics or Computer Science or Cognitive Science (each as a major or minor subject)). The lectures from 10-12 a.m. are supplemented by exercises in the afternoon.
