The focus is on both the internal dynamics of change in the European Union and its relationships with actors and institutions worldwide. The research center brings together academics from various disciplines to analyze and discuss current challenges - for example in the areas of democracy, sustainability or global cooperation - from a European perspective.
The research center bundles the research activities of the participating members, promotes international cooperation and strengthens the external impact of Osnabrück's EU research as well as internal networking through regular events, including panel discussions and guest lectures.
