TOGETDIBS

The digital transformation brings new challenges for school providers, especially for those responsible for vocational schools. In addition to pedagogical considerations, digital transformation processes in the economy and the world of work are important points of reference when making infrastructure decisions for vocational schools. How the resulting needs are identified, which networks providers rely on, how communication and coordination processes with vocational schools, which conceptual, planning and organisational tasks arise and how these are handled has not been researched yet.

This is where the TOGET DIBS project comes in, closing gaps in research on the digital transformation of vocational schools and their providers, developing support for providers of vocational schools and disseminating the results to a broad range of providers of vocational schools. To this end, the project combines transfer-oriented research with design-oriented support services, networking approaches and an open access strategy for all project results and activities. The project sees itself as a partner to the providers and seeks to work with them to identify challenges, develop and test solutions and learn from them.
