IMISCOE

IMIS cooperates with the most important European migration research institutes in the ›International Migration Research Network‹  IMISCOE. IMIS is one of the founding members of this international research network, which was established in 2004 as a ›Network of Excellence‹ under the 6th EU Framework Programme and today comprises more than 60  partner institutes and over 1,000 migration researchers.

IMIS members are involved in the management and coordination of the standing committees  Education and Social Inequality,   Forced Migration and Refugees and  Reflexivities in Migration Studies. They also contribute to the European Master's in Migration Studies  EuMIGS and the  Editorial Committee.
