Research-oriented Bachelor's programs

If you are interested in a comprehensive, research-oriented biology degree, then the  Bachelor's program in Biology is the right choice for you. Another option is the  Dual-subject Bachelor's program, in which you study a second subject in addition to biology. As a so-called polyvalent program, it can be combined not only with a teacher training Master's program, but also with a research-oriented Master's program.

Biology - Bachelor of Science

In our research-oriented Bachelor's program, you will receive a broad education in the various sub-disciplines of biology. The degree qualifies you both for entry into the profession and for further Master's studies.

Here you will find detailed  information about the study program "Biology - Bachelor of Science" and the application process.

Biology - Dual-subject-Bachelor

In the dual-subject Bachelor's program, you study two core subjects or combine a major with a minor. Biology is offered as a major, core subject and minor. Please note the valid  subject combinations.

Here you will find detailed  information about the study program "Biology - dual-subject-Bachelor" and the application process.
