Geographische Migrationsforschung, Kulturelle Geographien der Stadt, Flüchtlings- und Asylpolitik in Europa
Ich bin wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin (Postdoc) am Osnabrücker Institut für Geographie und seit 2018 IMIS-Mitglied.
Im September 2021 habe ich meine Promotion mit dem Titel "The Politics of Presence in Asylum: Negotiating the Inclusion:exclusion of refugees" an der Universität Osnabrük (Geographie) abgeschlossen. In meiner Promotion untersuchte ich lokale Reaktionen auf und Konsequenzen von Asylmigration. Ich erforschte städtische Aushandlungsprozesse insbesondere mit Blick auf die Aufnahme und Unterbringung von Geflüchteten, Abschiebungen, sowie Integrationspolitiken und - diskurse.
2019-21 habe ich das EuMIGS Double-Degree-Program koordiniert ( www.eumigs.eu) und 2020-2021 das DAAD-IVAC Projekt zur Entwicklung und Implementierung von internationalen digitalen Lehrformaten geleitet.
2015-16 war ich als Marie-Curie INTEGRIM Research Fellow an der University of Sussex in England.
Studiert habe ich den Erasmus Mundus Master in "International Migration and Social Cohesion" (MISOCO) an der Universität Amsterdam, der Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao und dem IMIS (2011-2013) sowie
einen BA in Liberal Arts und Sciences am University College Maastricht und dem IEP Toulouse (2007-2010).
Ich bin Mitglied im Netzwerk für kritische Migrations- und Grenzregimeforschung (kritnet), dem INTEGRIM Lab und dem AK Geographische Migrationsforschung.
