Tillandsias and other bromeliads in their natural habitat

Lectures as part of the annual meeting of the German Bromeliad Society (DBG) from August 28th to August 30th, 2026 in the Botanical Garden

Experts report on their travels to South America about natural habitats of tillandsias and bromeliads.

The lecture will be held by Dr. Thorsten Rennebarth, LUBW Karlsruhe and Dr. Michael Barfuss, University of Vienna.

Both lectures will take place in the Heliconia Hall in the Bohnenkamp House.
