To use the WiPG presentation gateway installed in room 29/E13 for wireless image transmission, please follow the instructions below. The gateway makes it possible to establish a wireless connection to the projector with a notebook, tablet or other mobile device.
1. you must first be connected to the university network via WLAN (Eduroam or WPA2), LAN or VPN. For regular guest lectures etc., it is therefore best to apply for a corresponding function ID at the computer center.
2. software is required for wireless image transmission. This can be obtained directly from the presentation gateway. If you have an existing connection to the university network, call up the following website with a normal Internet browser:

Tip: The address is always adapted to the room number (here building 29 room E13)
3. now you can choose whether you want to install the program (recommended for regular use) or run it in guest mode.
Tip: In guest mode, no installation is required, but the downloaded file can be executed directly. This is particularly interesting for guest lecturers who may not have installation rights (admin rights) on their end device.
4. agree to the license agreement and confirm it below
5. once the installation (Installer) or download (Guest) has been completed, the program can be started via the desktop icon
7. the required code is displayed by the projector as soon as it is started with the WiPG presentation gateway (button on the media control unit in the room)
8. after entering the code, a menu bar with a "start symbol" opens. If you click on this, the image is transferred
9. the desktop is now transferred wirelessly to the projector. If you want to pause the transfer, you can do so by clicking on the "Pause" symbol. To end the transfer, click on the "Stop" symbol
10. it is also possible to set up a conference (several transmissions in parallel). This is made possible by the marked symbol in the graphic below. A screen opens showing further codes that can be used by other users (same procedure as for individual use).
