Unfortunately, computers don't always work as they should. Of course, we will try to be there for you in these cases and provide you with help and advice. In principle, the IT support team at the School of Business Administration and Economics is your first point of contact for IT-related issues.
We offer office hours from Monday to Friday on working days in the form of presence support from 08:00 - 16:00.

For urgent cases in which further work is not possible, you can also reach the support team directly by mobile phone during the office hours of the IT support team. Please leave the phone ringing for longer, as the call will first be forwarded to the cell phone of the respective supporter.

Remote maintenance
The IT support team can provide remote support if you wish and if certain requirements are met.

The IT support team uses the TeamViewer remote maintenance software for this purpose.

WLAN Support
For employees and students of the School of Business Administration and Economics:
The Computer Center provides detailed instructions on how to use the WLAN (also known as "WiFi"). The IT support team recommends using the eduroam network.
During the "Technology" office hours (see right), the IT support team will help staff and students of the School of Business Administration and Economics to set up the WiFi on your mobile device.
Website coordination
The IT support team supports you in the planning and implementation of your website within the scope of our possibilities. The TYPO3 content management system is currently used to maintain and publish the school's websites. The IT support team also provides training for school staff and technical support.
If you would also like to maintain the websites for your department, please send a request to our helpdesk system with your department name or organizational unit and your user ID (RZ). Training by the IT support team is mandatory for quality assurance reasons.
Server infrastructure
The School of Business Administration and Economics is one of the largest schools at Osnabrück University and maintains its own servers both for research purposes and for administrative processes.
