The University Ball is back at last

Secure your tickets now for a glamorous summer dance evening! On Friday, June 13 at 7:30 pm, the chandelier will be raised and the OsnabrückHalle will be transformed into a glamorous ballroom.

Osnabrück University invites you to a summer evening full of dancing, live music and thrilling show acts. Everyone who likes to get dressed up for a classy evening of dancing is very welcome at our University Ball!

The marching band ´The Speedos` welcomes the ball guests with a lively welcome. Nele Kießling and Michael Hull professionally lead through the entire evening with special show acts. The university sports team presents a modern and classic show: the hip hop group presents its modern show, while the professional couple dancers impress with waltz, cha-cha-cha and discofox. The ´Big Bombastic` group from the Hull dance school will also be putting on a rousing show. Tickets for the ball cost € 28 for students and university staff. Invited guests from the city and region can purchase tickets for €34. Tickets are available from the UniShop, the Student Center, the Hull Dance School or online at: https:  //noz.ticketcenter.de/uniball-25/.

To prepare for the big evening, the University Sports Department also offers dance classes for students and university members. The refresher dance courses at the Hull Dance School are also open to everyone. On three dates in the run-up to the event, anyone can brush up on their skills for €7 per person.

"We have put together a varied program. There's guaranteed to be something for everyone on the dance floor," says Daniela Räuwer from the university's event management team. "We are delighted that great live bands will be on stage again this year." The six-piece cover band ´STILLaLive` offers a diverse selection of songs ranging from current music to the 80s. In the Congress Hall, the live band ´7Beats` will perform timeless hits and modern acts. Three DJs will also be spinning - and ´Kleine Freiheit` will be returning to the Rooftop.

If you need a short break in between, you can take a deep breath on the outdoor terrace. The Silent Lounge is also back this year for good conversation. For refreshment, you can enjoy fruity drinks at the cocktail bar or culinary highlights in the food lounge. To make the evening truly unforgettable, the best moments can be captured and shared in the photo box or in front of the ´magic mirror`.
