DAAD Award
Every year, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) awards a prize to international students enrolled at Osnabrück University and who stand out for their academic excellence and outstanding social and intercultural achievements in society. The DAAD prize is endowed with €1,000.
Award of the DAAD Prize
The DAAD prize is presented every year as part of the Germany Scholarship Award Ceremony. In 2025, the prize was awarded to Maedeh Amini, a student in the Master's program in Cognitive Science from Iran, in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements and remarkable social commitment. "Maedeh Amini is an outstanding example of how academic excellence and social commitment can go hand in hand," emphasized Malte Paolo Benjamins, Head of the International Office at Osnabrück University.
