A day of honor for our doctoral graduates: With the central Doctoral Awards Ceremony, Osnabrück University and the City of Osnabrück honor them in the company of their families, friends and academic supervisors!
A successfully completed doctoral thesis bears witness to outstanding academic research work. At the same time, it stands for discipline, perseverance and remarkable project and time management on the part of its author. This outstanding academic and personal achievement will be honored with a ceremony at Osnabrück Castle on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 11 a.m. If the date of your Doctorate is between June 2025 and June 2026, you are cordially invited together with family and friends! We look forward to welcoming you to this special event.
Following an entertaining program in the palace, there will be a joint walk through the city centre to the town hall. There, we’d like to round off this special moment with you over a glass of champagne and good conversation.
