Dean's office and Deans' Conference
The Dean's Office
The members of the Dean's Board are elected by the school executive board. The Dean's Office consists of the Dean, a Dean of Studies and up to three other members.
The Dean's Office manages the school and implements the decisions of the school executive board, to which it is responsible. It is responsible for all matters relating to the school, unless otherwise stipulated by the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act.
Deans' Conference
The deans form the Deans' Conference. This meets at least once every calendar quarter and comments on all self-administration tasks that are of fundamental importance to the schools, in particular
- the business plan
- the target agreements with the Ministry
- the organization of the university
- on measures for task- and performance-oriented resource allocation
- the introduction, modification and closure of degree programs
