Geographical Literature

The C4's literature collection includes monographs, anthologies, handbooks, reference works and textbooks. Over 4,000 print media cover not only the geographical field, but also various neighbouring and cross-sectional disciplines. In addition to specialist literature and encyclopaedias, we also offer many method books.

Journals

Our collection consists of print copies and online editions.

For an overview of the journals available electronically, we recommend the  catalogue of the University Library.

Semester Appendices

Every semester, we compile semester folders on behalf of the lecturers to accompany the seminars. You can view, copy and scan these during our opening hours.

Ebooks

In recent years, the stock of ebooks has become a central element of our services. You can browse the growing stock in the  OPAC catalogue.

Textbook stock

Since the majority of students at our institute study to become teachers, the textbook collection is of particular importance in our literature offer. We have class sets of the most common textbooks as well as copy templates, teaching materials, pedagogical literature and scientific works on geographic didactics.

The C4 offers various materials and equipment for stationary work in the project room or on loan. The offer includes:

• Moderation cases

• Dictaphones

• GPS devices

Further technical devices & Software such as laserpointers, adapters, notebooks and more are lent by the  IT-Support.
