Research at the Institute of Geography

Our two main subjects at the Institute of Geography - "Man-Environment" and "Migration and Globalization" - also shape our research. Both, basic research and application-oriented research are interdisciplinary and benefit from a wide range of international collaborations. Research at our Institute is closely linked to the Research Centers  "Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies" (IMIS) and  "Institute of Environmental Systems Research" (IUSF).
