Senate and School Executive Board Elections
Nominations have been received
Elections for all status groups for the Senate and the school executive boards will take place from December 2 to 11, 2025. The term of office begins on April 1, 2026.
Candidates can register for the election until November 10, 2025.
On November 17, 2025, the Osnabrück University Election Committee will decide on the nominations submitted. The approved nominations will be published in the election announcement and directly here on this page.

Why is the Election So Important?
The Senate and the school executive boards have a decisive influence on developments at the university. The elected representatives represent the interests of their respective status group in the committees and thus play an active role in shaping the university! We have compiled a few examples from practice for you, including the completely revised General Examination Regulations and the new Online Examination Regulations.
Who Can Vote?
All members of Osnabrück University entered in the electoral roll are entitled to vote in these elections. More detailed information can be found in the election announcement under Election Documents.
As a student, you will automatically receive an election notification, which you can download and/or print out via Campus Management by logging into the Osnabrück University Campus Management System with your personal user ID (LDAP ID). This is provided under "My studies" - "Student services" - "Certificates".
How and When Can I Vote?
You can vote in the period from December 2, 2025 (9 a.m.) to December 11, 2025 (3 p.m.).
The elections will be held online. The link to the election platform and the procedure for registering on the election platform will be announced from November 24, 2025 in the election notice and here on this page.

All eligible voters who belong to several groups or schools can make use of the declaration of affiliation. This allows you to determine in which group and/or in which school you would like to exercise your right to vote. It is not possible to vote in several groups and/or schools at the same time.
