Healthy and competent in your studies and career
Become a multiplier for "Healthy living, studying and working"
Students at Osnabrück University can strengthen their health skills. In addition to a wide range of workshops on dealing with stress, promoting exercise and healthy and sustainable cooking, the health certificate also offers the opportunity to train as a multiplier. With this qualification, graduates can actively pass on the knowledge they have acquired to other people.
The certificate program, which is funded by Techniker Krankenkasse, can be completed flexibly alongside your studies and is aimed at all students at Osnabrück University!
More about the certificate
The popular certificate program "Healthy living, studying and working" offers the following topics and opportunities
- "On the side": Workshops are offered in smaller groups to accompany studies, which also take individual needs into account in a hands-on and interactive way.
- Individualization and profile building: Students can choose from various workshops, allowing them to focus on nutrition, dealing with stress and sport and exercise.
- Say goodbye to stress: workshops on dealing with stress strengthen mental health, e.g. by learning about mental strategies or relaxation techniques.
- Healthy and sustainable nutrition: Workshops on nutrition offer information and hands-on cooking experiences, e.g. on nutrition for athletes or on a balanced and affordable diet.
- Physically fit: Workshops on sport and exercise show ways of setting up a workplace that promotes physical activity, targeting exercise to individual needs and integrating it into everyday life.
- Supporting others: As part of the multiplier modules, students can not only use the knowledge they have learned for themselves, but also prepare it (didactically) for others and pass it on.
Those who successfully complete the certificate program receive the certificate "Multiplier for Healthy Living, Studying and Working" at the end and are qualified to support the personal and institutional development and implementation of health-promoting measures.
The health promotion courses may of course also be taken without the intention of completing the overall certificate.
