Malin Delfs has been a research assistant in the Resource Management working group at Osnabrück University since January 2023. As part of the "Future Laboratory Water" project, she is working on adaptive water management in the context of climate change.
She completed her Bachelor's degree in Geography with minors in Politics, Sociology and Nature Conservation & Landscape Planning at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel. She then completed a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Development at the University of Bremen. During her Master's degree, Malin Delfs worked at the State Office for Geoinformation and as a student assistant at the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Research. In her Master's thesis, she dealt with the environmental governance of a national park in the Caribbean. She then worked for an environmental association in Lower Saxony in the field of municipal climate impact adaptation with a focus on flood and heavy rainfall prevention.
