Veronique Helwing-Hentschel

From March 2020 to December 2024, Veronique Helwing-Hentschel worked as a research assistant in the Human Geography working group with a focus on economic geography. She worked on the Hans Böckler Foundation-funded project "Digital business models - changing value chains and work using the example of the logistics industry" and her dissertation deals with restructuring processes as a result of increasing platformization. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Geography with minors in Political Science and Business Administration and Economics at the Philipps University of Marburg. She then studied economic and social geography at Osnabrück University and wrote her master's thesis on the effects of platform-based job placement in the courier and parcel industry.
