What is the status of lithium-ion storage technology in usable applications in buildings for self-supply and for participation in the electricity market? How are investment, benefits, safety, costs, disposal and energy balance related and what does this mean for Germany's energy supply? What role will the fossil base load play in the future? This will be explained for Germany on the basis of practical issues such as dynamic electricity purchasing, dynamic grid charges and flexibility using the example of the bidirectional vehicle.
Speaker: Speaker: Dr. Andreas Piepenbrink, E3/DC, HagerEnergy GmbH, Osnabrück
Admission is from 6:30 p.m. For those who cannot be there, there will be a livestream.
With the lecture series "Climate and Biodiversity in Crisis: Paths to a Sustainable Future", Scientists for Future would like to make scientific findings and the resulting opportunities for action towards a sustainable way of life accessible to a broad public. It is aimed at all interested citizens. In addition to technical solutions (e.g. renewable energies), the presentations will also cover legal, economic and social aspects that are essential for political implementation and the creation of structural conditions for effective climate protection.
