Basic skills in dealing with data are particularly relevant at universities, in research and teaching. In the online event , we want to take a closer look at the topic of data literacy and use perspectives from the Osnabrück university libraries.
Specifically, we will look at the different types of data and show what data literacy means in practice in everyday academic life and how these skills can be promoted among students.
Another focus will be on the existing services of the university library, which will present its open science infrastructures and the Lower Saxony state initiative for research data management, among other things.
In addition to the content-related impulse, we will take time for exchange and discussion.
