The Environmental Systems Science course is the only one of its kind in Germany. It provides an interdisciplinary scientific education in how mathematics, computer science and other subjects can be used to solve environmental problems.

Visitors have the opportunity to attend real lectures, get to know lecturers and students and gain exciting insights into the structure of the degree courses and current topics in environmental systems science.

In the Environmental Systems Science course, mathematical models and simulations are created, analyzed and used to develop solutions for complex environmental problems. The future careers of graduates range from public authorities to business and research, for example in areas such as environmental protection and monitoring, planning adaptation strategies and transformation processes, management consultancy or sustainable development.
