Occupational health and safety

Occupational health and safety is about creating and improving safe and healthy conditions in the workplace. This is an ongoing development process. It is important to keep awareness of occupational health and safety issues constantly alive and to integrate them firmly into the management and organization of the university. An essential prerequisite for this is an awareness of the employer's statutory responsibility for occupational health and safety. At the university, this responsibility is borne by the university management, professors and managers.

Hazardous substance management

Hazardous substance management refers to the handling of hazardous substances, their proper storage and legally compliant disposal, as well as the recycling management of hazardous (and valuable) substances.
Both areas of responsibility are optimally combined in the Occupational Health and Safety and Hazardous Substance Management unit.
