Welcome Ceremony for Students in the First Semester

At the start of the winter semester, the University president welcomes all “newcomers”: There will also be numerous stands offering an overview of campus life and city culture.

During the Introductory Week, you will get to know your most important contact persons, the campus and your fellow students. The highlight every year is the big official Welcoming Ceremony for Students in the First Semesters in the OsnabrückHalle! Here you will be welcomed not only by the Presidential Board of the University, but also by the management of the City of Osnabrück, the Student Government and many more. Entertainment will be provided by shows from the University Sports Center and our university music! And you can get an overview of Osnabrück campus life and what the city has to offer at numerous information stands. Be there!
