With the Summer School program now in its 14th year, we are happy to break new ground and offer a Winter School with differnt focus and content!

Exploring Osnabrück's cultural & natural heritage

In this project-based German language course centered around northeast Germany‘s cultural and natural heritage, students with different levels of German language proficiency will have the chance to improve their knowledge of German while discovering the unique natural and man-made history of Germany‘s northwest. Experienced language trainers will supervise and support students in completing projects and provide customised learning support throughout the program. This course offers a mix of classroom learning, language immersion and field trips, so that students will have the chance to practise their German in authentic environments.

Course Description

This Winter School offers a broad range of German language learners (A1 to B1) an immersive experience of the multifacted cultural and natural heritage of the city of Osnabrück and its surroundings. Participants will hone their productive and receptive language competencies in German through a combination of classroom linstruction and hands-on learning opportunities. Experienced instructors and student assistants recruited via a dedicated buddy program will guide participants through the different activities and help them improve their German language proficiency on a daily basis.
