A warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Elke Dubbels!

Since October 1, the Germanist helds the professorship for "Modern and Contemporary German Literature".

Her research interests at the School of Language and Literary Studies include German-language literature from the 17th to the 21st century, literature and media, theory and history of drama, rumor research / literature and uncertain knowledge, public history and theory, German-Jewish literary, cultural and media history as well as aesthetics, poetics and rhetoric.

Swedish Lucia Festival

Fancy some Swedish pre-Christmas cheer? At the Festival of Lights on December 12, which is always organized by the Language Center, participants and guests will sing traditional songs together with the music group "Nymans Dans". The event starts at 7 pm.
