Appointed: Dr. Benjamin Zander

Osnabrück University congratulates Prof. Dr. Benjamin Zander! Since March 15, 2025, he has held the professorship "Sports Science with a focus on Sport and Society".

Prof. Zander reconstructs the perspective of pupils in school sport, researches sport-related peer relationships of children and young people and sheds light on questions of socialization and inequality in sport. In this way, he contributes to strengthening the diverse potential of exercise, play and sport. Good luck!
