New at the university: Prof. Dr. Bin Qu!

Osnabrück University welcomes Prof. Dr. Bin Qu! On June 1, she took over the W2 professorship "Biomedical Foundations" at the Institute of Health Research and Education (IGB).

Her research focuses on cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells - in particular on how their killing efficiency against tumor cells is influenced by altered biophysical properties of 3D tissues under pathological conditions. Welcome!

Innovation award for Prof. Dr. Christoph Skudlik

Prof. Dr. Christoph Skudlik from Osnabrück University has been awarded the Unna-DERM Prize 2026 for innovative concepts in dermatological care.

Osnabrück Peace Forum: Scientific Council constituted

Twelve members have been appointed to the Academic Council. Under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Martina Blasberg-Kuhnke and Prof. Dr. Siegrid Westphal, they are responsible for the program of the Osnabrück Peace Forum.
