Kinderbungalow
The Kinderbungalow is a large day care center at Osnabrück University, which is supported by the University's Family Service and the Family and Children's Service Office of the City of Osnabrück. It is located directly on the Campus Westerberg and is the result of an initiative by the biology school.
Qualified childminders Viola Lorenz and Anastasia Vogt provide care for a group of eight children aged 1 to 3 from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 04:00 pm.
A large, bright playroom, a quiet room, an exercise room, a kitchen and a child-friendly changing room are available for the children. Outside, the children can use the adjoining garden with its large sandpit and fleet of vehicles and explore nature at length. The children in the Kinderbungalow are fed exclusively with organic products. Fresh food is cooked every day.
The settling-in period takes place in close cooperation with the parents according to the Berlin Modell. Each child is given the time they need to gain confidence and feel safe.
In addition, trial lessons are offered before settling in, which the children can spend together with their parents in the Kinderbungalow. This offer gives them the opportunity to get to know the facility during this time. This creates an important mutual relationship of trust between parents, children and the childminders before the settling-in period begins.
Childcare in the Kinderbungalow begins regularly on August 1st of the year and ends when the child enters kindergarten.
If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the childminders in the Kinderbungalow directly.
