Emily and her whirlwind life

University invites you to a play in the castle auditorium

The Atelier de théâtre en français of Romance Studies at Osnabrück University will be performing "La vie d'Emily à Paris" in French on Wednesday, June 25, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the castle; admission is free.

The play, which is inspired by an American comedy, was written entirely by students. The plot: Emily is sent to Paris by her marketing agency in Chicago to work for Savoir. Her new boss Sylvie is less than enthusiastic about the young American, who has a better command of social media than the French language. Colleague Luc, on the other hand, a passionate lover of French culture, is delighted with the breath of fresh air at the agency. Emily's roommate Mindy also immediately takes the American to her heart. Chef Gabriel, who also happens to live in the same house as Emily, is particularly smitten ... It almost seems as if the determined American is losing sight of her work in the city of love. But then she receives a request from a German university to market her sweaters. Will Emily manage to convince the eccentric fashion designer Pierre Cadault to work with her?
