14th Osnabrück "Long Night of Postponed Housework"

The University Library and the Writing Center of the Language Center are jointly organizing the 14th Osnabrück "Long Night of Postponed Papers" to provide students with targeted support in academic writing.

The event will take place on Thursday, March 5, from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Alte Münze Library.

During the semester break, many students dedicate themselves to writing their term papers and theses. Finding a topic, researching literature, structuring the content and formulating it scientifically are often a major challenge.

The varied program is aimed at students from all disciplines and offers practical inspiration for academic writing projects in German and English. In compact workshops, topics such as literature management, AI, strategies against procrastination and writer's block as well as argumentation in academic texts are covered. In addition, a moderated writing time offers the opportunity to work on your own project in a productive atmosphere. Anyone who wants to talk specifically about their own text can take advantage of individual writing advice. The Pausenexpress, yoga, a library cinema and free snacks and drinks will provide balance and relaxation in between.
