Ceremonial awarding of the 2022/23 scholarships

The ceremonial awarding of the "Deutschland-sholarships" 2022/23 took place on Thursday, November 10, in the Helikoniensaal of the Bohnenkamphaus in the Botanical Garden.

The Vice President for Studies and Teaching, Prof. Dr. Jochen Oltmer, as well as Jens Kuthe from the Diocese of Osnabrück as representative of the donors and Pascal van Dijk as representative of the scholarship holders spoke at the welcoming ceremony.

This was followed by the ceremonial presentation of the scholarship certificates.

At the end of the event, donors and students had the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas at a "get together".

The next award ceremony for the "Deutschland-sholarships" will take place on November 16, 2023.

Osnabrück University has participated in the “Deutschland-scholarships” program, which is organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, since the start of the 2011/12 winter semester. Students and freshers who show promise in their career and education are given a scholarship worth €300 per month. Half is financed by the federal government, the other half is funded by private donors.
