What’s PhD interConnect all about?

In a globalized world, universities need community, cultural exchange, and diversity. That’s where we come in. Think of us as your campus hub for all things international PhD life.

Our project supports and empowers international doctoral students. We want to make your PhD experience in Osnabrück not just successful, but meaningful and enjoyable. Our goals include:

PhD interConnect Book Club

Do you like books and reading (in English)? Join us for bi-monthly meetings, where we discuss books we select and read together. It’s a great opportunity to discuss literature and exchange ideas with your fellow PhD students.

Thematic Events

Every semester, international PhD students work together to plan a series of events—from workshops and seminars to excursions and discussion meet-ups.

These events give you the chance to gain new academic and non-academic skills and build your network across disciplines and cultures.
