Appointed: Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Skudlik

Prof. Skudlik has held the W2 endowed professorship "Occupational Dermatology" at the Institute of Health Research and Education (IGB) since December 1, 2025. Congratulations!

As a specialist in Dermatology and Venereology, Allergology, Nutritional Medicine and Occupational Dermatology (ABD), Prof. Skudlik has been head physician of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Dermatological Prevention and Rehabilitation (iDerm) at its two locations at Osnabrück University and the BG Klinikum Hamburg for several years.

Prof. Skudlik's research focuses on practical relevance with direct interfaces between the care requirements of statutory accident insurance and the further scientific development of prevention and care models in the field of work-related skin diseases.

The University mourns the loss of Prof. Dr. Klaus Busch

The University mourns the loss of Prof. Dr. Klaus Busch, who passed away on April 7. The political scientist worked at the former schools of social sciences from 1974 until his retirement. He also served as Vice President from 1999 to 2004.

Who receives the Teaching Award?

The students decide: Which lecturers should receive the "Hans Mühlenhoff Prizes for Good Academic Teaching" this year? Students have until May 27 to submit proposals. The awards ceremony will take place in June.
