"Everything we do is music!" - This old insight by John Cage also applies to the tools of music-making: "Everything we use is a musical instrument!" And so the Ensemble for Contemporary Music of Osnabrück University will play pieces by John Cage and Moritz Eggert at its concert on Thursday, January 29, 2026, using traditional instruments as well as everyday objects such as vacuum cleaners, coffee grinders, cooking pots, candy wrappers and ping-pong balls.
The concert, conducted by Christoph Louven, begins at 8 pm in the music hall at Osnabrück Castle. Admission is free.
