Third Singer & Songwriter Night

An evening full of music and stories

Students from the Institute of Musicology and Music Education at Osnabrück University promise an evening full of music, emotions and stories on Tuesday, November 18 at the Balou (Kolpinghaus).

At the third edition of the "Singer & Songwriter Night", artists who want to touch and inspire with their lyrics and music will take to the stage. Students present self-written songs and their own cover versions for the first time at Balou.

Admission is free, the event starts at 8 pm.

Project investigates ancient interpretations of history

What emotions are attributed to kings and queens in the period from Alexander the Great to Cleopatra by ancient historians? The project "Emotions of rulers in Hellenism" will address this question from January 2026.
