Master First Week
Information on the first semester introductory week for Master's students (Mersti week)
Welcome to the "PsychOS" in Osnabrück!
Please note: You will receive the exact schedule in the welcome email! If you have not received a welcome email by the beginning of October or have joined later, please write us an email so that we can still send it to you.
Please note: For the Master's courses, some registration deadlines for the group allocation to the seminars (lectures are not affected) on StudIP are relatively early in October and therefore before the Mersti week. If you already have your StudIP access, you are welcome to search for the corresponding courses in the course search and register. If you miss any deadlines, don't worry! You will be added to the list and will all get a place :) The official registration at the examination office takes place during the semester and can therefore be adhered to by everyone.

Accommodation options
You don't have an apartment in Osnabrück yet, but still want to take part in the evening events (which we highly recommend!)? No problem! You can find cheap accommodation here, for example:
- Penthouse Backpackers
Inexpensive, good backpacker hotel in the city center. - Osnabrück Youth Hostel
The youth hostel is located two kilometers from the city center, but the bus connection is quite good. As with all youth hostels, you will need a youth hostel card, which you can easily order online. - Otherwise, you can just take your sleeping bags with you on the off chance and there is usually always a nice fellow student who will take you in.
As it might be quite full at the beginning of the semester, we recommend booking as soon as you know that you will be spending the week in Osnabrück.
