Structure
In order to meet the requirements of the modern training world, trainers are trained for both face-to-face and online training. Our training is embedded in a blended learning concept that teaches and uses a mix of synchronous and asynchronous methods. The aim is to enable participants to gain their own experience with different formats. On the other hand, they should be enabled to design their own training concepts as an agile learning world and thus become learning facilitators for customized intercultural training.
The program comprises a total of five modules. Modules 1, 2, 4 and 5 each comprise a three-day face-to-face seminar. Module 3 is designed to make it possible to experience intercultural training in an online context and therefore takes place digitally. It is divided into a two-day training course on diversity (Module 3a) and a one-day training unit (Module 3b), which enables participants to successfully design their own intercultural online and blended learning training courses. While the first three (partial) modules (1, 2, 3a) teach basic skills in dealing with interculturality and diversity, the other modules (3b, 4, 5) are primarily aimed at training and further education for the independent delivery of intercultural training.
The training also includes the independent implementation of a practical project by the participants in a field of application of their choice.
The structure of the qualification provides for a fixed group of participants as well as fixed contact persons on the part of the teacher-trainers for the duration of the qualification.
Upon successful participation in all training blocks, the implementation of the practical project and after submission of a written elaboration and reflection of the practical project, a corresponding qualification certificate can be issued by Osnabrück University.
