Examinations
In the Master's degree programs in Psychology, all examinations are part of the course. The coursework in each module is assessed in a timely manner. The exact type of examinations for the individual modules is regulated in the examination regulations .
The following modules are not completed with a module examination:
- Study project (ungraded)
Examinations

- Multiple Choice
- Open questions
- Combination of (1) and (2)
- Oral examinations are offered if required
Master thesis
The Master's degree program in Psychology with a focus on Intercultural Psychology concludes with the Master's thesis. The workload for the Master's thesis corresponds to 30 credit points, or a workload of 900 hours. In order to be able to complete the Master's thesis during the module, the processing period is 6 months after receipt of the topic. The topic and assignment must be such that the Master's thesis can be completed within the specified period.
Coordination and registration
The examination dates are coordinated by the Examinations Office of the Institute of Psychology. The examinations are organized in such a way that there is as little overlap as possible. The time organization can be found in the permanent examination schedule.
The examination dates are usually announced by the examiners at the beginning of a module. Students receive further information on examination dates via CAMPUS (online examination administration system). The modalities regarding the offer of repeat examinations and compensation for disadvantages for students with disabilities are regulated in the examination regulations (§ 11).
