Placement in the higher semester
In principle, the Admissions Office handles the allocation of study places for a higher semester. This office has provided some information for you on the subject of "Admission to higher semesters".
It is possible to apply for a place in a higher semester every semester.
For the summer semesters, you can apply for the even semesters, for the winter semesters you can always apply for the first semester and additionally for higher odd semesters.
Admission to a higher semester takes place in two steps:
- You apply online for a place in a higher semester. You will receive feedback from the Admissions Office as to whether you can be offered a place in the higher semester. This admission is subject to placement in the respective higher semester.
- Please contact the Psychology Examination Office with your current transcript of records, the module handbook, the admission letter from the Admissions Office and the "Placement" form (you will find it at the bottom of the page that opens). The Chairperson of the Examination Board will then classify you into a higher semester, if applicable, on the basis of the credits submitted. You will be informed of the decision in an official letter, a copy of which will be sent to the Admissions Office.
Classification is not equivalent to the crediting of the submitted achievements. The crediting of achievements takes place after enrolment.
